I was very surprised when i searched for this type of boat. I had the idea that they where "proper" sea boats. Now i have found out they are river cruisers. They have a very large range from a 17ft day boat to some very large river boats indeed.
Here is a website that i found with the range of Seamasters

Yes, the Seamasters are very diverse! from seaboats to sailers.
We have a Seamaster 30, 'Fairhaven' our dreamboat!
Will try and sort out a pic for my profile at some point.

Not true Adam, loads of the Seamaster range are capable coastal boats, and the sailies, wouldn't work too well on the majority of rivers.
I'm currently shopping for a Seamaster 27, 813, or 30 all of which I've seen in my price range. and it looks like I'll be in good company.

There's a lovely '27' in our marina with a blue hull, goes by the name of 'Graceful', and it truly is.

I love the seamaster 27, and to be honest because of the design it WILL be my next boat.

Nice thats a good price, especially from the Broads where they tend to bump their prices.
We are members of the Seamaster owners club and they always have boats for sale in there.
You can always email me or catch me on MSN if you want any details of one for sale.

I went to have an external look at Dorella (27 advertised on the seamaster owners club site) before christmas, and she looks good.
However, for reasons I can't go into, I have to wait a few weeks before making a purchase. so i have to hold back from putting in offers.

She's slightly faded with a few chips, but then she's 35 years old, has no obvios sign of serious damage, and i think she'll buff up fine.
P.s, my outlaws are based in Gloucester, so i'm down in your neck of the woods a fair bit.

I've been told a Senior and a Project have Seamaster Hulls. So do you know the difference.
BTW my neighbour at Bardney had a twin 1500 BMC engined Seamaster, so I've spent quite a lot of time on one, and it was the first twin engined boat I drove.

As far as I'm aware Malc, Projects have a Princess Hull, certainly the Project 31 does(based on a Princess 32 hull). I fancied one when we were looking last year and had a good sniff around a few. Decided they were too big in the end, running costs, berthing etc were a bit in excess for what I wanted.
