The boat that is. Decided to visit today, despite it being overcast instead of the sunshine of the last few days.

Well it was dead calm, and after lighting the stove and getting warm I had a choice; do some tidying and starting the spring clean, or go for a short trip.

Guess which I chose Very Happy The first time the ropes have been untied since I came from up the Kyme at the very start of November.

I know you like pictures so.........











Very rare to see photos from the water of Dogdyke pumping engine in the winter. One of the oldest working beam stream engines of this type.

Ta - quite by chance, but I'm particularly pleased with the one of Orchard Park pontoon from behind........the river looks like a mirror.

I've often seen it like this in the evening on our trips to Boston, but not usually around midday.
