Re-sealing windows

Re-sealing windows

Postby hypnorm on Sun Apr 20, 2008 9:02 pm

Went over this weekend and Tom has started working on removing all the windows and replacing all the seals, was very cold so Me and my son decided that we wouldnt stay on board over night much to the annoyance of Hubby! even more so when today hasn't been too bad!
At least we have most of the food and cushions and bedding back on board..
Now time to evict all resident spiders..ugh

Nice to see afew friends who we havent seen since the end of last year.

Umm, you did pick a good weekend for removing windows, I don't know about down your neck of the woods but it rained both days here :( .
As for those poor lil' ol' spiders, poor things. I think I would rather have a few of those than those 'orrible flesh eating midges that swarm around the bunks at night.
I trust boat is now water tight, I just hope we have some good weather now so you do not have to prove the seals.

You will be ok for the comming weekend, just heard the weather. Nice & warm for Saturday may be up to 20 degs :D. I may even be able to finish my filling on the old boat :D provided the kids do not expect a Bar B Q! Lets keep all our fingers crossed :)
I wish you and the OH good luck for an easy job.

Luckily my windows seem fine.

So I'll be boating at the weekend.

It's alright for some. I'm going to have to wait until next year I think before my little boat will be ready to make waves (sorry 'ripples' - thinking about river bank errosion and all that). Still I guess I should not complain as I get just as much enjoyment from tinkering as messing about on the water :)
