Now you're asking, Simon! It was recently, but I'm up and down the Trent between Holme and Hazelford quite a bit, so it was either on your way there or back
Was it a good trip? We went to Selby via Keadby , Knottingly etc a couple of years ago and loved it. The Aire and Calder canal is huge but enjoyable. We didn't 'do' Trent falls as I only had a 15hp strapped to the back and it was an unknown quantity at that time. This was in a Mayland Sapphire. Now got the Viking Jubilee with a 30hp on it, but eventually I'd like a 60hp, just as a bit of 'backup' as it's a heavy boat.
