I would have thought that they would remove or lock any threads that started to have a go again.
But it seems to be carrying on.
I know how i felt when they were having a go at me.

It's called free speech Selena, but it doesn't take into account anyones feelings or use any sort of moral code. The old "no one knows who I am, so I can say what I like" thing.
I'm afraid the adage, 'Treat others as you would be treated' seems to have lost favour with a lot of people these days, which is a shame!

Different forums have different moderation styles, DCOwners is tightly moderated. (But never needs it)

Here i suspect is more like DC owners.

Canal World has a more liberal moderation policy, and I know that appeals to Carl, and others. basically it's all about choice, if a forum is a bit too wild then those that prefer a more directed forum will move on, and the opposite is true if the forum is too highly moderated.

There is no such thing as free speech on an internet forum. the website is privately owned, just like a house, and you are there curtesy of the owner, and you must respect the owners stance, otherwise he/she is free to evict you. The only time you might claim free speech is if the forum is run by the government.

Having said that, no one runs a forum unless they are interested in hearing diverse viewpoints, they run something like Narrowboat world instead.
