I went in the "Barge" the pub near the bridge and was the only customer :shock:
talking to a boater who moors LT at Keadby Bw have recently taken over the pub and things have gone down ever since .
The local working mens club has been doing a roaring trade ever since .

Not sure what you mean about "machines" ? There is a gas fired power station to the north and sluices for land drainage to the south.

The machines are just down the road from the swing bridge. They are suspended from street level going down to near the river. They also move by thereself.

I think you mean the Drain sluices Adam. There are some hoists for clearing large lumps of debris from the water by the grill. Could be those you mean.
