Yet another disaterous weekend :(. Not much to report on the boat front - again -. although I did pick up the parts I had re-chromed and all the rubbers etc. I need for the window rebuilding, my wallet is feeling exceeding sick  . Unfortunatly some of the chrome was not upto standard so it is being sent back along with the remaining few items to be done. Sadly the bits sent back are for the front side windows/vents so it will slow the painting somewhat. The plan was to paint the top & fit the windows the next day so I can get rid of the 'orrible tarp. I am not going to paint and run the risk of a flapping tarp rubbing on fresh paint :( . I will make a start on the windows at the weekend and if lucky post a few pics of my attempts :) .

You are not kidding, each weekend I have to bail out about 5-6 bucket fulls of water from the inside of the boat, that's even with a full tarp covering :( . If I could save it I could go boating in the garden :)
I keep my fingers crossed that all of you that do have boats in the water do not have the problems of last year.

Oh dear, I'm glad I left the ropes slack last weekend.
Environment web site www.environment-agency.gov.uk/subjects/ ... =3&lang=_e says the the Avon is on FLOOD WATCH. :(
Fingers crossed and legs.

All very depressing considering it is only a couple of week to 'mid summers day' - but the sun is shining bright this morning and here's hoping :D
