Had a trip up the Avon on Sunday.
After I had to wash all the mud off the pontoon again. Evil or Very Mad

Went from Tewkesbury to just beyond Bredon Marina, some 4 1/2 miles. Saw a couple of boats on the outward leg.
Narrow boat sunk at Bredon Marina?
The weather was glorious, plenty of sunshine and very little wind.
Tried out the Sat Nav to check the speed of the boat. Upstream 5mph down stream 6.5+mph proberly would have got more if I had let keep going.
The return trip saw a few more boats, then approaching Tewks Marina it was like the M25.

A pleasant afternoon out. Should have taken the camera.
