I'm also quite tempted by the Elysian 27. Will he won't he? Watch this space, as Fuzzyduck's new Fuzzyduck buying spree unfolds before your very eyes.

One of P&SB's (I'm not going to write "Peter & Sarah Blake" everytime) sisters is for sale:

Go on! I dare you!

I might buy it. "The Rankin" is so much quicker to type.

My price range tops out at 15k

oh and i need a 3 foot draught max. otherwise I'd seriously consider it. Mind you we'd have to get the wife on yours so you and I could persuade her a lifeboat was the way to go.

The 27's are nice boats and you could pic one that needs a bit of work up for under 10 grand easily i would think.

It was taken at Sawley, and no, she's an Elysian (or Medeira) 27

and she's very very pretty, she just needs a few improvements for long distance cruising

A bit frustrating for you not being able to get to Sawley, Fuzzy.
What powerplant has she got? Ford petrol or Perkins diseasel?

I've got to get her surveyed etc yet, but as you can see she looks fantastic, so should be a walk in the park

I had a perkins that clean once. It was still in the crate after a complete rebuild, though.

That one has 4441.5 hours on the hours meter, and runs pretty sweetly. there is absolutely no sign of oil in the bilges.

there is a bit of white smoke on starting, so I'll get a marine mechanic to have a shuftie as part of the survey. but she just jumped into life from cold.

my only slight concern is the charging meter was jumping about a bit from 0 - 40 Amps, so something might be a bit amiss there.
