Last Sunday I went to see the chap I bought my boat off, he's at castle Marina, just to see what was new in and for a chat and......... well, you know how it is!!
Anyway, I had a sort of ulterior motive as I was after a water heater for the boat, a Morco or Rinnai or Paloma. He greeted me with "glad you've come in, do you want an auxilliary outboard for your boat?".
Turns out he's got to move all the stuff he's accumulated, out of the building it's in, and anyway, to cut a long story short, I ended up with a virtually brand new 4hp Mariner, a 2.4m inflatable, a couple of water heaters (to make one good one) and a serious dent in my finances!!!

BUT, his lock-up was an Aladins cave of stuff, some marvellous old engines, boats (a unique racing Albatross), electronics etc. I could've spent a serious amount of time in there. Fantastic!!! And it's all gotta go. So if anyone is after anything old, nautical and obsolete, chances are it may be in there. PM me if you have a request and I shall give you his number!!
